Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 Arrive Cochin

Arrive in Cochin and transfer to hotel, check into hotel rest of the day free and overnight stay.

Day 2 Cochin to Munnar

Morning tour of Cochin with its delightful mix of European and local cultures. Explore 

the fascinating sights partly by boat and party on foot. Visit the Chinese Fishing Nets, 

the St. Frances Church, Mattencherry Palace, built by the Portuguese and walk through 

the narrow cobbled streets, lined with antique & handicraft shops of the Jew Town to the 

Jewish Synagogue, the oldest living synagogue in the world, later afternoon transfer to 

Munnar, check into hotel, overnight stay.

Day 3 Munnar

Drive through the picturesque countryside to Munnar. A popular summer retreat during the Raj, 

Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and boasts of exotic flora

 and fauna. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Later enjoy a city tour visiting the Christ Chruch 

Mattupetty Lake and Tata Tea Museum, overnight stay.

Day 4 Munnar to Thekkady

Today your journey continues from the land of tea plantains to the spice land of 

Thekkady, the Heart of God’s own country, on arrival, check into your hotel, 

late afternoon and enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar, the watering hole within 

the sanctuary and spot wildlife in their natural environment.

Day 5 Thekkady to Alleppy

Morning after breakfasts checkout from hotel and transferred to the jetty to embark on a

 leisurely exploration of the Kerala backwater. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the 

beautiful backwaters in the Houseboat. As you float through the placid waters passing 

palm fringed canals, lakes and villages. Overnight on the board the houseboat.

Day 6 Alleppy to Kovalam

Following breakfast on board the houseboat, you will disembark at Alleppy and drive to 

the Coastal resort of Kovalam where you will stay for two nights. Afternoon is at leisure

 for you to relax and unwind in the picturesque environs or to enjoy a rejuvenating Ayurvedic

 massage at your resort.

Day 7 Kovalam

Today, you will enjoy a short excursion to the famous Old Palace of the Rajas of Travancore 

at Padamnabhapura, their former capital. Visit the beautiful palace, displaying the fine 

craftsmanship, especially in woodwork Characteristic of Kerala’s art and architecture.

 Rest of the day is at leisure to indulge in beach activities and explore the town on your own.

Day 8 Depart Kovalam

Today bid farewell Kovalam as you transfer to the Trivandrum airport for your international 

flight back home.
